Hutchins Printing opened for business in October of 1978 in Vista, offering custom offset printing. Our beginnings featured the typical printing of business cards, flyers, forms, envelopes and newsletters. We have been a family owned business from the start. The Hutchins family has been part of Vista since Francis M. Hutchins (of Hutchins Concrete Construction) poured the first concrete sidewalks in downtown in 1936. We are all active volunteers with the Pride of Vista Lions Club and in our local schools.
As the years passed we expanded to publishing the local Vista telephone directory for four years. The Vista Directory had white pages for residential listings and yellow pages for advertisers.
As the business climate in Vista changed, our business did too. This was when we incorporated silk screen printing to our offering of services. We have been printing on hats, shirts, sweatshirts, signs, bumper stickers and more for over 20 years. Currently we also contract print for local sporting goods stores.
